ISG acquires service parts from a variety of sources.  Our extensive partner and vendor network allows us to purchase parts for virtually all major manufacturers. The purchasing power that we have gained through out the years allows us to keep our costs down and to pass on savings to our customers.

• A vast majority of the parts required for repairing mobile devices are electronic components such as diodes, resistors, capacitors, etc.  ISG buys these components from the same sources as the OEM’s...through electronic distributors who represent companies such as Sanyo, Toshiba, etc.  Since ISG repairs devices down to the component level on the printed circuit board (PCB), the components represent a lion’s share of the parts we need complete repairs.
• Plastic case parts also come from a variety of sources.  We give our customers a choice when replacing plastic parts….refurbished or new.  Obviously, the major difference is cost. Like many manufacturers, refurbished parts come from devices ISG buys from other customers in the market who have upgraded to other technologies.  New parts are either purchased from distributors of such parts, the OEMs or manufactured by ISG.
• Cables, connectors and wiring harnesses are all commonly available from electronics distributors like Amp (through Arrow Electronics, for instance). We also build custom cables in house to support our customers.
•  ISG has most of the popular touch screens manufactured.  LCDs are manufactured by companies such as Sanyo and ISG either buys direct from the OEM or through distribution.
• Any legacy equipment that has been out of production for years, are almost exclusively serviced via refurbished parts.  ISG stocks an extensive inventory for these devices as we continue to service thousands of these each year.
